Running on the beach reduces the overall stress of your
joints pounding the ground every time you take a step. It’s great for your hip
flexors and gluteus muscles. Running on
the beach is also great for building more speed and power.
Running barefoot on the beach allows you to stabilize muscles
in your knees, ankles and feet. When running barefoot, you’ll have proper landing that running shoes can’t
do. Normally people who wear running shoes land heel first while placing more
stress on the foot. The proper landing should be in the middle of the foot,
barefoot running allows for that to happen.
It also gives you better posture and stronger feet. It also allows you to save money that you
would spend on running shoes.
